If you discover that personal data has been lost or have detected a security incident please report this as soon as possible to avoid undesirable consequences.
A data breach may have occurred. Avans is legally obliged to report a data breach or suspected data breach to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Dutch DPA) within 72 hours. If we fail to do this, we may receive a fine.

Report what you have observed and mention the actual event and what kind of data has leaked and from whom. Also state which parties are involved. The Services Helpline will determine what is happening and whether specialists need to be consulted.
